Why do we use ICTs in our Prep S?
ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology. But what does this mean? These are the technologies (and devices) that allow us to send and receive information and communication. Put more simply, they are such things as computers, the internet, tablets, smart phones and Interactive Whiteboards that we use in the classroom to enhance the students' learning.
What are ICTs?
There are three main reasons why I integrate these technologies in my classroom. They are:
1. To prepare children for the digital era...safely!!
2. Allows utilisation of many teaching styles, in order to best suit each child's needs.
3. To support learning difficulties with assistive technology

Prep S is a foundation year class in a Lutheran Primary School. It i slocated in a community-minded, middle socio-economic area. Our class is proud to have high parental involvement in the classroom.
Made up of 13 amazing boys and 14 wonderful girls, Prep S is proud to boast a delightful mix of cultural backgrounds, abilities and physical capabilities.
